Hearts on Fire
Hearts on Fire is a 35-minute contemporary dance-theatre work created and directed by Eryc Taylor, and made in collaboration with ETD dancers, set to the emotionally charged music of Beth Hart. Blending athletic physicality, intimate storytelling, cinematic staging, spoken text, and theatrical lighting, the work explores the many faces of love—desire, vulnerability, obsession, heartbreak, forgiveness, resilience, and healing.
Rather than following one literal relationship, Hearts on Fire moves through an ensemble of interconnected characters whose relationships continually shift, revealing love as something fluid, universal, and deeply human. The result is an intimate and visceral theatrical experience that invites audiences to recognize themselves within the stories unfolding before them.
