ROSA’S CHOREOGRAPHIC STYLE IN 3 WORDS: VOLCANIC, AMORPHOUS, AND INTIMATE.

Rosa Allegra Wolff is a dynamic performer, dancer, choreographer, and photographer. Rosa’s creations weave in self-produced music and personal writing, with collaboration from multimedia artists. Their work has been chosen to be presented at the American College Dance Festival Gala, Spring for Spring Dance Festival, and Supper Club Dance. Rosa graduated from George Mason School of Dance in May 2023 with honors for excellence in choreography. They have worked with artists including Heather Robles, Christina Robson, Lawrence Jackson, Joseph Hernandez, and Brandon Dicrisco. Rosa is thrilled to dive into a new process with the support of Eryc Taylor Dance.

THE CAST

Josephine Brunner (She/They)

Josephine Brunner (she/they) is a NY-based dancer and choreographer originally from Baltimore, Maryland where she received the Harry Gladding Dance Award from
Baltimore School for the Arts. As a recent graduate from George Mason University with a BFA in Dance, Josephine has had the pleasure to perform works by Doug Varone, Larry Keigwin, Rafael Bonachela, Darell Grand Moultrie, Stephanie Martinez, and Christopher D’Amboise. Alongside their studies, they have attended professional programs including Limón Dance Company, Doug Varone and Dancers, David Dorfman, Vim Vigor, Bates Dance Festival, Sidra Bell Dance New York, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and B12 Summer Festival. Alongside performing, Josephine is currently creating work throughout New York that centers around themes of queerness, gender, and the abstract.

Georgia Dahill-Fuchel (She/her)

Georgia Dahill-Fuchel is a professional dancer from New York City, who recently earned a BFA from The George Mason University School of Dance in Virginia where she earned the Excellence in Choreography Award. Prior to attending university, Georgia graduated from the Dance Studio of the world renowned Fiorello LaGuardia High School for Music, Art and the Performing Arts.  She studied at Ballet Hispanico for ten years, and within the pre-professional program for eight years, where she received the first Citizenship Award. She then did Ballet Hispanico’s Pa’lante Scholars Program during their 2022-2023 season.

Georgia danced in the George Mason School of Dance’s Annual Gala in Hope Boykin’s piece entitled, “Running to and Toward,” as well as with Alejandro Cerrudo, understudying an excerpt of his duet, “Silent Ghost.”  Georgia was the choreographic assistant to Christopher d’Amboise, for his piece, “Everything is Clapping” which honored his late father, Jacques d’Amboise.  This was performed at the Celebration of Life Memorial at City Center. She now dances with Black Bird Dance’s Flamenco company!

Emma Gordon (She/They)

Emma Gordon was born and raised in New York City where she first studied dance at P.S. 212 in Manhattan from former Alvin Ailey dancer Ted Pollen. She then went on to attend Ballet Tech: The NYC Public School for Dance  and danced works by Brian Brooks, Eliot Feld, and Laura Careless at the Joyce Theater. She attended the Alvin Ailey School where she was trained and danced works by director Guillermo Asca and its faculty. She has since graduated with her BFA in Dance from The George Mason University School of Dance, and in her time there she studied and performed works by Christopher d’Amboise, Camille Brown, Rafael Bonachela, Alejandro Cerrudo, Karen Reedy, and Robert Kleindorst, as well as many choreographed by her peers. She now branches out and uses her experience in kinesthetic understanding in not only dance but modeling, acting/dance theater, and stretch therapy as a Flexologist for the Stretch Lab Franchise.

Diamond Laurent (he/him)

Diamond Laurant was born and raised in Southern California, he began his training at Zeneith Performing Arts Center in Long Beach. Then received dance training from celebrated instructors Jamie Carbetta, Pam Santelman, and Daniel Bereny at El Camino College. Alongside Jamie Carbetta, Elijah co-founded the all-male dance company, Pony Box Dance Theatre, during his three-year scholarship to South Bay Ballet Academy. He later received a full scholarship to attend the prestigious Ailey School in NYC in 2015. Elijah has showcased his talents in works by renown choreographers such as Matthew Rushing, Jennifer Muller/The Works, and Joshua Beamish, Helen Simoneau and has performed in productions by RWS, Christopher Rudd, Ti any Billings, Roberto Villanueva, and Akram Khan. Elijah joined Stephen Petronio's company in 2017, Gallim Dance in 2019, and now David Dorfman Dance!

Craig Wolff

Craig Wolff, a professional writer and storyteller, is making his dance stage debut in Home, Returning? He is thrilled to be performing with this company of beautiful dancers who have lifted him with their graciousness, and, fittingly, made him feel at Home alongside them. Performing, too, with his daughter, Rosa, he has experienced her creative spark in a way he never has before. For years, they have danced together in every room of the house. He cherishes the chance to do that in today’s performance.


Rae Sue (he/they)

Rae grew up in Seattle, Washington and moved in 2018 to New York City to pursue higher education and a professional dance career. They graduated cum laude with a BA in Dance and American Studies from Barnard College. Since 2018, Rae has had the joy and opportunity to work with InTW 工作室, David Dorfman, ChamekiLerner, Banning Bouldin, Dual Rivet, Colleen Thomas, and Vim Vigor on performance and choreographic projects.
